About Me (Ms. Christi)
I learned to sew at the age of 12, sitting at my mother's feet. I have been teaching children how to sew in homeschool co-ops, group and private lessons. I absolutely LOVE teaching sewing! I enjoy the process of learning a new skill and arriving a a beautiful end product.
In our home, we have all come up with creative ways to use sewing to solve problems. My daughters both know how to sew and my husband and I have even worked together to repair our camper canvas. I have repaired boat seats and reupholstered a heirloom rocking chair. I find so many wonderful ways to use these skills. As my children grow and leave home, I am finding time to sew for grandchildren, as well.
When I'm not in my sewing room, I enjoy all kinds of activities. I like to read and learn. I also love photography. Our family loves to go camping, fishing and do all sorts of things in the outdoors.
